Our Wild Alaska Salmon Oil is made using a gentle, cold-pressed process very similar to making extra-virgin olive oil. Our ocean going production vessel is able to moor near the fishing grounds so we get nothing but the freshest fish. Our unique process allows us to capture every part of the salmon oil making it as close to eating whole fish as you can get in a supplement.

Our complete salmon oil includes high quantities of the Omega-3s EPA and DHA plus 6 other essential fatty acids found in Alaska salmon. It also contains oil soluble nutrients like vitamins, antioxidants, bio-flavinoids, and carotenoids. While not as well known as Omega-3, these oil soluble micro-nutrients play an essential role in our bodies.

Common fish oil only has 2 of the 8 essential fatty acids.

Most fish oil is a blend of oil taken from different fish. Due to a lack of regulation and the unknown purity of the oil, it must undergo deodorization and "molecular distillation" to ensure the absence of undesirable odors and contaminants. During these processes, standard fish oils are heated to temperatures in excess of 150°C, which can degrade the omega-3 fatty acids.

NO MORE FISHY BURPS

Every get a fishy tasting burp after taking a fish oil capsule? When fish starts to smell or fish oil starts to taste fishy, it's because it’s oxidized (the technical term for spoiled). We use only fresh fish in our food-grade process.
That means NO FISHY BURPS!

Molecular distillation is also used to concentrate the two most well know fatty acids in the Omega-3 family (EPA and DHA), altering their relative proportions, and removing some of their fatty acids. This changes the fish oil into something far removed from its whole food origins.
